2012 IPMS WCMO
Region 5 Convention

Welcome to the home page of the 2012 IPMS Region 5 Convention. Our
club is working hard to provide a great time for all involved!
The Special
Theme of the convention is "In the Movies . . ." If you have seen
something in a full length movie and would like to build it and
bring support documentation per IPMS rules we would love to see it!
Contest Entry Fees
Adults: $15 for 3 models;
$2 each entry thereafter
Juniors: (age 17 & under)
$7 unlimited entries
Visitors: $2
We are
expecting to have a gigantic raffle! We already have over 400 items
in the raffle including a large number of large scale kits. I dare
say this may be the best raffle we have ever had and the largest I
have seen outside a National
We are
expecting that vendor tables at this regional convention will sell
out as they have done for each of our contests since 2010. If you
are interested in vending at the convention please let us know as
soon as you can and we will reserve a table(s) for you. A table
is at a minimum 6 foot in length.

tables are:
- $30 each for tables
1 - 3
- $25 each for table

Coordinator, is also the Sponsorship Coordinator for the
Convention. If you personally or your club or business
is interested in sponsoring a category please contact
Kelly at
KelDQ@aol.com.
If you are
traveling from out of town or need to stay overnight prior
to the convention, there are a limited amount of hotel rooms
available at a group discounted rate at the Holiday Inn
where the convention will be held. If interested please
call the hotel at 913.888.8440 and ask for the "IPMS Block
Rate."
